IT TAKES DEUX TO DESIGN

In a match made in Heaven, local designers will team up with their clients to talk about a design project in a fast-paced slideshow presentation. This unique format provides a peek-behind-the-curtain at the designer/client partnerships that gave rise to some of Hawai‘i’s most interesting design solutions. A Q&A panel discussion will follow, moderated by Chris Magpoc of Dfi Design and former AIGA Honolulu president.

The Hawai‘i’s 5-O Awards Competition and Show is the AIGA Honolulu Chapter’s biggest and longest-running design event. The state’s design community along with partner industries come together every other year to celebrate great design in Hawai‘i. All 50 winners will be announced, including the Top 5 which will be presented by judges Peter Markatos, Kelli Anderson, and Jay Fletcher. Winning projects will be on display at the conclusion of the program.

Don’t miss this semi-formal event, held this year at the beautiful Pacific Club. Heavy pupus and hosted bar.
