Join AIGA Honolulu for a Designer Dialogue event with master letterer, type designer and type director Ken Barber of House Industries. Known throughout the world as a prolific type foundry, House Industries has made a considerable impact on the world of design. House Industries fonts scream from billboards, wish happy whatever from tens of thousands of greeting cards, serve as the basis for consumer product logos and add elements of style to a wide range of mainstream media. A number of Ken's typefaces have garnered him awards from the Type Directors Club. In his spare time he conducts lettering workshops all over the nation (Honolulu included!). 

PARKING
There is meter parking along all streets leading up to the HUB, and parking garages near the HUB are as follows:
South Street Garage
564 Pohukaina Street 
Only M-F, not state holidays 
Hours: 7am to 5pm 
$1/hour for the first 2 hours 
$2/hour for further hours
For evening parking: 
The lot at Queen and South 
$5 flat rate
Additionally you are welcome to safely store your bike upstairs.
