Introducing Hawaii’s Newest Designers

Celebrating with the Class of 2017

This year, AIGA Honolulu participated in and supported several events featuring Hawaii’s college design programs.

In April AIGA partnered with AAF to host the ABCs of JOBs, a panel discussion with local design professionals about how to put your best foot forward in getting a design job. The limited-seating event filled up with students and young designers eager to pick up any tips that would give them an edge in the challenging pursuit of employment.

We also participated in the Ad2 portfolio review, giving one-on-one feedback to students putting the final touches on their portfolios.

Classes of 2017

May is portfolio show season, and we were thrilled to welcome the graduating classes of UH Manoa, KCC and HCC to the profession. As always, local industry professionals turned out in large numbers to meet and greet our new batch of designers.
